Pop culture/ TV show

Less than decade ago  TV show was about high culture ,theater, documentary, instructive movies etc.    Nowadays most of TV is about crime, crime and crime. I like watch TV  show. Every day I watch show; but I always ask my self what is going on. Why  today TV show  is about violence. The channel 38.1 Aon TV show is one of the best example of what I'm talking about.  It kind of the world is going from good to bad.  Every day with crime in most high school  neighborhood from kidnapping to murder , sex offender  to drug use.I release that nowadays we watch our back we always pay attention to what is behind us. We don't want to be the next victim. What I see  every day in TV show make me worry about how the future will be. It is kind of the future is going be dark.

One decade later we used letter to communicate; with the help of  Johannes Gutenberg we discovery imprinter. With technology we discovered  how to communicate trough home phones and computers.Nowadays the new tool of communication is Cell phones. It changed the way we communicate since it had been made. It had huge impact on people and society.  It improve business, communication , and save lives in differences case. I cannot live without  Cell phones; it is the only tool I can use to communicate with friends and family back home. With my phone I can do Skype, text message , or call very distance . Black Hawk Down

Only the deaths have seen the end of war said Plato. This movie was co-produced and directing by Ridley, the director of Gladiator (2000). It was the best American drama war movie made on the base of true story in East Africa Somali Mogadishu. It is the best movie  action movie I have ever seen. Black Hawk Down was made in 2001 and directing by Ridley, the film features a large assembly cast including Josh Harnett, Eric Bana and Sam Shepard. This movie was about ware fare among rival clans which cause famine on a biblical scale. 300.000 civilians die of starvation. The most important part is to capture Mohamed Farrah Aidid, the most powerful of warlords who was ruling the capital Mogadishu.
Black Hawk Down was the best Drama action movie well down I have ever seen. What I like in the movie is the story behind it. This movie wasn't fiction but it was made on reality. For those who were not born or know what happen is Somalia in 1993 or why there are huge numbers of Somalian's in Minnesota, Black Hawk Down can help them understand.  The best part is the movie was directed by aRidley who follow exactely the writing on the genocide in Somalia in 1993.

Afrobeat and Fela Kuti

Afrobeat is a combination of traditional Yoruba music ,Jazz ,highlife ,funk  and chanted vocals, fused with percussion and vocal styles, popularised in Africa  in the 1970s. Its main creator was theNigerian  multi-  instrumentalist and bandleader Fela Kuti i, who gave it its name, who used it to revolutionise musical structure as well as the political context in his native Nigeria. It was Kuti who coined the term "afrobeat" upon his return from a U.S. tour with his group Nigeria '70 (formerly Koola Lobitos). Afrobeat features chants, call-and-response vocals, and complex, interacting rhythms.
The new sound hailed from a club that he established called the Afro-Shrine. Upon arriving in Nigeria, Kuti also changed the name of his group toAfrica'70 . The band maintained a five-year residency in the Afro-Shrine from 1970 to 1975 while afrobeat thrived among Nigerian youth. Afrobeat is now one of the most recognizable music genres in the world and has influenced as many Western musicians as it has African ones with its exuberant style and polyrhythms.

Does Sex Still Sell?

Does Sex Still Sell? was  the article that really spoke to me. Trough the article I understood  why Singer or pop star dress sexy on the stage specially women. Expose body was the way to attract follwer and sell their product. It is kind of the new trend. Follower want their star to expose their  body. It funny to watch. I remmembered the author of the article said that '' This maybe good news for those female performers who chafe at the sexual marketing thought to be necessay for strong CD sales''.Nowadays sexy images are important for music marketing .While I was reading the article the question I asked myself why exposing body was important for showbiz. I also tough about what is going to happen soon; like singers expecially female singers will start nude show. I also tough about the value of women  and secret be expose on stage.

Cultural Identity

My father was a great teather actor not only that, but also a great singer and song writer . When I was young ,I use to see  him all lot the time in his bed room practicing acting or singing. I relazied the importance of what he was doing when I was 15 years old. I jointed a druming and become a good drummer.  With my drum band we traveled in lot of places and make people happy trough drum.   It was at 17 years old when I began writing song in african and french language. Nowadays my hobby it is to be a great artist maybe Afro-Pop singer because I have learned a lot from my dad experience. he was a great actor. Cultural identity is what left over after we forgot everything.
